Sludge is generally conditioned before thickening and dewatering. Euro Polyelectrolyte is a specially recommended product which helps to dewater sludge instantly. Euro Polyelectrolyte, with its very high molecular weight (long chains of monomers) and their ionic charge, fix the destabilised particles on their chain. Therefore the particle size in the aqueous phase will increase throughout the dewatering step with the formation of solid water separation. The formation of charge induces a release of the water thereby easing the process of sludge separation during dewatering.
